Hello folks,
First, the publication and release dates for The Black Act have been
approved.
Pre-order date: December 28, 2008
Ebook date: December 28, 2008
Release date: April 28, 2009
I'll be debuting the novel at the World Horror Convention 2009, and I'm planning a small Maritimes book tour,
which means I need to get my butt out there and start talking to
bookstores. More on that later.
The Black Act website is still undergoing construction, and I have
purchased www.theblackact.com for its
future home. For now, you can take a peek at the WIP site, designed by
Jodi Lee.
I've also created a promotional page that gives you more information on
the novel, over at my new Esoteric Writings mailing list. You can take a
gander at that, here:

Early Praise for "The Black Act", from Bob Freeman:
"The Black Act blew me away. I don't know what I was expecting, but I
have to tell you, this far exceeded anything that was nestling in the
cobwebbed recesses of my cranial dungeon. It was so magically charged,
lyrical, and filled with such stark imagery. There were times when my
breath was literally taken away. You've built a rich and beautiful world
filled with wonder, excitement, and a darkness that is as visceral as
darkness can be. Your depiction of the Fae was nothing short of
brilliant, culminating in a dark and terrible feeling of loss and
hopelessness that feeds the story so well. This is, in a very real
sense, your coming out party. Thanks for inviting me into your world.
It's one I'm not ready to leave and I am very much looking forward to
reading the more polished and finished version. Nothing excites me more
than the prospect of being carried away on the dark wings of the
night."

Don’t Forget Raw
Meat! Get One Before They’re All Gone
The Unknown Guardian –Louise Bohmer
Roger and Sam never left the small town they
were raised in, and they still inhabit the hulking mansion atop
the old Silver Dollar Mine Hill. A terrifying structure build
on odd angles. Raised by parents who secreted a life embroiled
in the Cult of Cthulhu, Roger and Sam go back to the clearing
where they nearly gave up their lives as a sacrifice to the Unknown
Guardian of the Great Old Ones, so long ago...
After nearly two years of waiting, RAW MEAT is finally
available. This slick, 290 page anthology features 38 short stories,
including new tales by James Newman and Deborah LeBlanc. Each story
has a small pen and ink illustration to compliment the prose. Contributing
artists include Tom Moran, Jacob Parmentier, Evangeline Doctolero,
GeffBartrand, and Meghan C. Hakes. While supplies last, the first
100 copies come signed by all of the authors.
