I’ve got a double dose of fun content today. First up, the wonderful and wildly prolific Ms. K.H. Koehler was kind enough to have me over for stop number three on the Passion Plays mini-blog tour. Much thanks to Karen for this. Surf over and check out “What George Burns and Gracie Allen Taught Me.” In the spirit of erotic romance, I get all sappy. (While there, be sure to browse Karen’s many great titles, too.)
And I’ve got a guest post coming up right after this from Carole Lanham, author of The Whisper Jar.
Zipping in for a quick blog post before I call it a night early. First off, a peek at the full table of contents for Passion Plays, my erotic romance collection that will be available February 14.
Passion Plays Table Of Contents
Black Silk Stockings
Bio-ink & Blueprint Whores
Roberta’s Younger Man
The Other Woman
Under The Weather
If you’d like to try all these stories before you buy Passion Plays on Valentine’s Day, be sure to download the Passion Plays Teaser for FREE.
And much thanks for all the downloads of the Teaser via Smash and my site! You rock!
Kindlegraph & Amazon Author Page
Would you like me to digitally sign your copy of Old School, Detritus, the Passion Plays Teaser, or the collection when it comes out? You can now put in requests for my digital ink on Kindlegraph:
Or check out the new follow me menu in the first sidebar on my site. It also has my Kindlegraph page listed.
And I now have an Amazon author page, which you can visit here: www.amazon.com/author/louisebohmer
And if horror / dark fantasy / weird fiction is more your thing, you should check out LibraryThing’s Member Giveaway. You can enter the giveaway for a copy of Detritus until January 31. Click the link in this paragraph or the book cover below to visit the giveaway page.
Featuring: Kealan Patrick Burke, Jeremy C, Shipp, Mary Borsellino, Brent Michael Kelley, Phil Hickes, L.S. Murphy, Michael R. Colangelo, Neil Davies, Louise Bohmer, Edmund Colell, S.P. Miskowski, Michael Montoure, Lee Widener, Pete Clark, and Opal Edgar.
The impulse to collect springs from deep within the human psyche Squirrels gather acorns, rats collect shiny things, but only humans assign meaning to the objects they collect. Detritus is a collection of stories about the impulse to collect, preserve, and display gone horribly wrong.
Be sure to ‘like’ the book on its Kindle page. It helps up our ranking!
Passion Plays Teaser is now available in the Kindle Store! Sorry for the delay, folks. KDP was really great about helping me with this technical glitch, though. Sure, it took a few emails back and forth and such, but all in all they were easy to deal with and fixed my problem. I’m happy. Click the link here or the book cover to grab the teaser in the Kindle store now! Sorry for the small fee via this route. But since I’m not adding the book to the KDP lending program (since it’s also available here and at Smash), I can’t offer it free on Kindle.
And I’ve made my second stop in the mini-blog tour for Passion Plays. This time we’re hanging out at Katey Hawthorne’s place. Our topic? How dirty stories helped kick my muse’s arse back in gear. Much thanks to Katey again for letting me crash at her site. Don’t forget: Katey is also a part of the Passion Plays Teaser with her essay On Love (which is a great piece on humans and our mysterious relationship with sex). Click the link in this paragraph or the title below to check out guest blog 2.
Release days are falling from the sky, Chicken Little. And after that feeble attempt at humor, let’s get on with it. The Passion Plays Teaser is now available for FREE on Smashwords and for direct download right here. Grab it from the Passion Plays page or the Free Reads page now. The teaser will be available on Kindle as soon as KDP fixes the technical glitch on their end that won’t let me publish. (Amazon have been great about helping me with this, btw.)
The teaser is available in MOBI, EPUB, PDF, RTF, DOC, LRF, PDB, and TXT formats.
Tomorrow I’ll be tweeting bits from the teaser also. Watch my twitter for these peeks.
And don’t forget the Passion Plays collection will be available for purchase Valentine’s Day!
