Old School – Book Trailer and Kindle Edition
Plus, here’s the official Old School book trailer, made by a strange wood nymph who I claim no association with. She just dumped the trailer on my doorstep a few days back, thumbed her nose at me, and then ran off into the night. Typical.
Guest Blog at Zoe Whitten’s Place and The Black Act News
The dear Ms. Zoe Whitten has been kind enough to host a guest blog from yours truly on “Sex in Horror.” Much thanks to Zoe for putting up my thoughts. Please check it out here. While you’re there, be sure to check out Zoe’s homepage, which you’ll find in the side bio with her cute picture. I highly recommend reading Zombie Punter and Confessions of a Zombie Lover, if you are looking for something different and thought-provoking in the zombie sub-genre.
The Black Act News
And an update on my novel, The Black Act. My publisher has been an absolutely great guy, and I can’t complain, as it’s been a great two years with Library of Horror. As my contract comes to a close, I’ve decided to take the book in a different direction.
If you are still interested in a print copy of the novel, I may have a special offer for readers in the near future. Alternatively, feel free to give me a shout at blackfaery ‘at’ yahoo ‘dot’ ca if you would like a print copy. Looks like you can still grab the Kindle edition here.
Over at Gef Fox’s blog, I’m pretty tickled to have made his list of his top five women in horror! It’s an honor to be in the company of other great ladies in horror like Lisa Mannetti, Amy Grech, Sarah Langan, and Tonia Brown.
Check out the list here:
Did you also know it’s Women in Horror Recognition Month? I would like to throw a handful of recommendations out for some fine female horror / dark fantasy writers.
Go read these diverse, talented ladies now!
Parlee Road in Red Penny Papers
I’m also happy to announce that my short story, based on a snippet of New Brunswickian local folklore, Parlee Road will appear in an upcoming issue of the online zine The Red Penny Papers. I’m tickled K.V. Taylor enjoyed the story enough to give it a home. You can check it out in a future issue of The Red Penny Papers, most likely in summer. I’ll keep you posted. Check out the Red Penny Papers for sensationalist and fantastic fiction.
